St. Charles Borromeo RC Church

St. Charles Borromeo Church was built in 1923 by local residents, under the direction of Reverend Charles A. McCarthy. It was named after the Italian born saint who lived in the 1500's. Over the years it has undergone many renovations, the most recent of which occurred in January of 1999.

The Church has a relic of St. Charles Borromeo himself. The relic of St. Charles Borromeo was obtained from Rome in November, 1986. A silver plated reliquary to hold the relic was obtained from Toronto and was most likely fabricated in Quebec in 1823.
