Community Volunteer Groups

Fermeuse has an average number of active community organizations and the level of volunteer participation is very high. The following is a list of some of those groups:

- Fermeuse - Port Kirwan Volunteer Fire Department

- Fermeuse Women's Institute

- Fermeuse Hall & Church Committees

- Fermeuse Cemetery Committee

- A number of seniors from the area are members of the Captain William Jackman Club in Renews

- A number of our young people are members of Girl Guides of Canada, The Royal Canadian Sea Cadets and the Allied Youth Organization.
